Hi everybody, welcome to my blog! When putting together this website I wasn't originally going to include a blog. However, as I go through my day I see a number of things that inspire me to create so I thought it might be fun to document some of the items from which I draw inspiration for my designs. My background is in Interior Design and Graphic Design but I am also slightly obsessed with Fashion Design, Architecture, Art and practically anything else design related.

So how did I end up designing stationery? My name gets misspelled (and mispronounced) all the time. As a kid, it was one of my pet peeves, so the rare instances when someone (who I wasn't related to) would give me a card or gift that had my name spelled correctly it would make me feel special because it meant they took the time to get my name right. For this reason I love monogrammed and personalized items. Since I've always been drawn to custom and personalized items it was a natural transition for me as a designer to create my own invitations where I saw a lack of creativity in the marketplace.

This blog will serve as a place for me to share the current design concepts and trends that I find interesting. I'll also share some of the objects and merchandise I come across when I source materials for my projects. Hopefully you will find this information not only useful but as interesting as I do.
